A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, Oct. 18, 12:52 a.m. at the intersection of College Parkway and Sherman. He faces misdemeanor charges of contempt of court warrant, minor consuming alcohol and possession of marijuana.
According to the arrest report, officers with the Special Enforcement Team were patrolling northbound on College Parkway when a vehicle was seen stopped with its hazard lights on.
Officers stopped to check the vehicle and noticed a male subject walking around the front of the vehicle in the roadway. The officer contacted the male who identified himself. He had a strong odor of alcohol coming from him, had red watery eyes and slurred speech. The vehicle was stopped on the side of the road because it had run out of gas, according to the arrest report.
A warrant check was conducted and came back with the confirmed outstanding warrant for contempt of court. The man was taken into custody. Because he was 20, he also faces a charge of minor consuming alcohol. During a search of the man officers found a small amount of marijuana in his right front pants packet. The man stated the marijuana belong to him., according to the arrest report. Bail: $1,271.

A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:58 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Roop and Randell streets. He faces two misdemeanor warrant charges of being in violation of a suspended sentence.
The man had been in a vehicle that was pulled over with three occupants. He was found walking southbound on Roop Street near a field.
A warrant search of the man confirmed he had an arrest warrant and that he was under supervision of Alternative Sentencing with a no alcohol clause. The man provided a breath test in which he blew a .143. Bail: $2,000.
— A 44-year-old transient was arrested Oct. 17, 11:56 p.m. in the 3400 block of North Carson Street. She faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear on an April 2009 warrant issued out of Esmeralda County. Bail: $734.
A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Oct. 17, 11:57 p.m. in the 300 block of Carson Meadows. He faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, failure to provide proof of substance abuse counseling attendance, out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Oct. 17, 11:37 p.m. in the 3500 block of Northgate. He faces a misdemeanor warrant charge of being in violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
A Carson City man was booked into jail Oct. 17, 11:45 a.m. and faces a misdemeanor charge of being in violation of probation. He turned himself into authorities for the outstanding warrant, failure to report for color code drug testing, issued July 30, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail; $3,000.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
