Carson City sheriff’s investigators are looking for a man who stole a wallet from an elderly customer at a south Carson City casino on Tuesday.
The suspect, in these photos and video below and a second video here, grabbed the wallet out of the hands of an 87-year-old man at Bodines Casino in the 5000 block of South Carson St. and ran away, last seen heading toward Fuji Park, said Carson City Sheriff’s Office Detective Sam Hatley.
At approximately 2 p.m. the 87-year-old male victim was playing a slot machine inside Bodine’s Casino when an unknown male suspect grabbed the victim’s wallet from the victim and fled the casino on foot.
The suspect was last seen running west from Bodine’s toward Fuji Park in Carson City. Carson City Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies arrived and were unable to locate the suspect. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is a white male adult, age possibly late 20’s to 30’s, 5’-10” to 6’ tall. Suspect possibly has full length tattoos on both arms to his wrists. Last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black baseball style hat.
