One flown by Care Flight, one in custody after stabbing on Hot Springs Road in Carson City

UPDATE 9:10AM: A Carson City man faces felony charges including including battery with a deadly weapon and burglary. Joseph Allison, 46, was arrested following Sunday night's stabbing in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail has been set at $50,000.

The condition of the victim, who was stabbed on the left side of his abdomen, just below the rib cage, and upper chest, is unknown at this time.

UPDATE 9:35PM: A man was stabbed and flown by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center in Reno on Sunday night and another man is in custody following an argument that turned violent, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong confirmed.

A woman involved was injured and taken by ambulance. Her injuries were non-life threatening, according to the sheriff. The stabbing was reported at 8:50 p.m. in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road. Detectives remain on the scene.

The injured victim flown by Care Flight was reported to have been stabbed in the chest and stomach.

Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies have responded to a stabbing Sunday night reported in 700 block of Hot Springs Road.

There are two victims and at least one Care Flight helicopter ambulance has been ordered. One victim, believed to be a male, was said to have stab wounds to the intestine, arms and chest.

The report came into dispatch at around 8:50 p.m. as a fight that happened in an apartment complex and was said to be a domestic battery. A woman was reported to have taken the knife away from the scene. It is unclear if the woman was involved in the stabbing or if she confiscated the knife.

Carson City Fire Department and ambulance crews on the scene said they will land Care Flight as close to the crime scene as possible because of the severity of the wounds.

Investigators at the scene were interviewing witnesses. There has been no indication that any suspect(s) in the stabbing are at large.
