Carson City sheriff's arrest log: Woman jailed on burglary, fraud and conspiracy charges

A 26-year-old Mound House woman was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail on five felony warrant charges, including burglary, fraud and conspiracy, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Candis Coffman was arrested Tuesday, 12:49 p.m. in the area of Harbin and Carson streets. She was booked on two felony counts burglary, two counts fraudulent use of a credit card and conspiracy. Bail: $30,000.

In other arrests: A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 6:50 p.m. in the area of Fleetwood Avenue on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, the man was in a dispute with his sister-in-law. She told the officer the man threw a basketball, hitting her in the face and then grabbed her arms, forcing her to the ground and dragging her across the driveway and out into the street. The woman had visible marks on her right lower leg and feet that were consistent with being dragged across cement, the arrest report states.

The man was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.

— A 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday, 5:38 p.m. in the area of East Proctor and Carson Streets on misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court and failure to appear. Bail: $905.

— A 35-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Wednesday, 1 p.m. on a warrant, violation of a temporary protection order, issued Oct. 7, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $5,000.

— A 37-year-old Reno man was booked into jail Tuesday, 11:45 a.m. on a misdemeanor warrant, contempt of court, issued Feb. 3, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.

— A 23-year-old Reno woman was booked into jail Tuesday, 3:20 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant, contempt of court, issued Aug. 5, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
