VIRGINIA CITY — Storey County Sheriff Gerald Antinoro will offer a presentation on “Guns, Terror, and Radicalization in Rural Nevada” at the next Gold Hill Hotel’s Thursday Night Presentations at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 7, 2016.
Antinoro will talk about recent acts of terrorism, active shooters, mass protests and issues plaguing the larger cities of the country, and how a small, rural law enforcement agency might handle them.
Dinner is from 4-8 p.m. at the Crown Point Restaurant at the Gold Hill Hotel with several menu options offered.
The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Room. Dinner and lecture is $25 and $10 for the presentation only. Advance reservations are required by contacting the Gold Hill Hotel at 775-847-0111.
