Last year was a great success by raising more than 6 times our donations from the first, previous year, $1200 for 2013 to $7600 for 2014. We plan to make that exponential leap again this year now that EBCC has been admitted as an official part of the Annual Carson City Silver and Snowflakes Festival of Lights in addition to making some other very powerful alliances throughout the community.
Other scheduled events include:
EBCC sponsored by Deloitte Consulting at the Children's Museum on Friday, June 5th 10am-3pm. FREE admission to the museum provided by Deloitte in addition to the FREE bowl making. Will be a great community building event here as usual.
EBCC at Farmer's Market in Carson City every Saturday from June 6th to September 19th. Due to overwhelming response we must limit weekly bowls to 60 which will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Seeking weekly local sponsors to match the donation jar here! Some Saturday's will include demonstrations on the potters wheel too!
TBD: Other events and workshops to be scheduled soon at Carson City Pottery, Brewery Arts Center and at local potter's studios.
