National Library Week starts Sunday, and the Carson City Library has plenty in store: book readings, bookmark crafts, and more. The Friends of the Library celebrates its First birthday of the new Browsers Corner Book Store on Monday, so head over for some deals on award-winning books. Today is National Encourage a Young Writer Day, so treat your young story-teller to a new journal; who knows, one day they might be winning a Pulitzer. (Happy birthday Joseph Pulitzer.)
