Carson City sheriff's weekend arrest report

A 23-year-old transient, Kyle William Krites, was arrested Nov. 6, 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street on a felony warrant issued out of Lyon County, Oct. 7, 2014, alleging statutory sexual seduction, a class C felony, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said. He was being held without bail awaiting a hearing.

In other arrests:
— A 27-year-old Carson City man, Anthony DeWayne West, was jailed Friday, 12:10 p.m. in the 900 block of Roop Street on three felony charges including two fugitive from justice warrants and a felony and gross misdemeanor possession of controlled substances.

According to the arrest report, officers had been looking for West to arrest him on a warrant. He was found at a business in the 900 block of Roop Street.

When officers arrived the man tossed five pills, none of which he had a prescription. One pill was a narcotic schedule II, the remaining four required a prescription. He is being held without bail pending a hearing on the two fugitive from justice warrants. Bail for the alleged drug possession: $5,274.

A 26-year-old Butte Mountain, Nev., man was arrest Saturday, 9:49 a.m. at a casino in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East on a felony warrant charge of burglary, issued Oct. 30, 2014 out of Eureka County, Nev. Bail: $20,000.

— A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 11:56 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.

— An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 4:51 p.m. at the Fifth Street Bridge on a misdemeanor charge, minor consuming alcohol. Officers found the man climbing on the Fifth Street Bridge and then hanging on the exterior of the chain link.

Officers asked the man if he was OK, and he stated he was. He came down from the edge of the bridge and provided officers his name. He had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. A preliminary breath test shows a .187. He was arrested for being a minor consuming alcohol. Bail: $242.

— A 26-year-old Carson City man, Christopher Thompson, was booked into jail Friday, 12:50 p.m. on a felony warrant issued Oct. 20, 2014 out of Carson City Drug Court. He’s being held without bail pending a hearing.

— A 76-year-old woman was arrested Friday, 10:55 a.m. in the 2000 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing. Bail: $247.

— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 4:12 p.m. in the 3300 block of Highway 50 east on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana. Bail: $737.

— A 45-year-old Carson City man, Daniel Robert Miles, was booked into jail Saturday, 5 p.m. on a felony warrant, failure to appear in court, issued Sept. 2, 2014. He’s being held without bail pending a hearing.

— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 3:35 a.m. in the area of Plaza and Telegraph on a misdemeanor charge violation of a suspended sentence. Officers were called to the area there was reportedly a fight in which someone said “I need to get my gun.”
Officers spoke with two men, both who said there wasn’t a fight, but an argument. The 26-year-old was on Alternative Sentencing with a no alcohol clause. He submitted a preliminary breath test of .190. He was arrested based on a violation of terms. Bail: $1,000.

— An 18-year-old Reno man was arrested Saturday, 4 a.m. in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on misdemeanor charges of warrant providing false statements to obstruct an officer and possession of stolen property.

According to the arrest report, officers responded to the Tamarisk Street area regarding a fight. Officers arrived and located a man on the street screaming that he had been stabbed. He then pulled items out of his pocket, among them a pair of keys and two cell phones, and threw them to the ground.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment of a laceration. A deputy advised the arresting officer that he had taken two statements from victims in reference to stolen property. Two of the items, keys and a necklace, were in his possession. He was treated at the hospital and taken to jail. He was being held without bail pending a hearing on the warrant. Bail for alleged possession of stolen property, $637. An 18-year-old Reno man was also on a misdemeanor charge of minor consuming alcohol. Bail: $242.

— Two were arrested on misdemeanor charges Saturday, shortly after midnight in reference to a fight in the 300 block of East Winnie Lane. A 37-year-old woman was charged with obstructing and resisting and battery. Bail: $1,549. A 51-year-old man faces a battery charge. Bail: $1,137.

— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 11:09 a.m. in the 4200 block of Shelbyville on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence, issued Oct. 22, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.

— A 45-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday, 9:39 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Curry Street on a misdemeanor charge of DUI with drugs. The woman had been drinking and told officers she was on pain medication. The woman showed signs of impairment, was unable to complete standardized field sobriety tests and had slurred speech and watery eyes. Bail: $1,137.

— A 50-year-old Carson City man, Bark Adam Billman, was arrested Saturday, 7:19 a.m. in the 3600 block of Goni Road on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail: $2,500.

A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 1:51 a.m., in the area of Curry and Fifth Street on misdemeanor charges of destruction of property and disorderly conduct. According to the arrest report, the man allegedly threw a rock through the window of a motel room when he was told that a person he was looking for was not in the room. Bail: $879.

— A 25-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Sunday, 6:30 a.m. on a misdemeanor warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia, issued Oct. 13, 2014 out of Dayton Township Court. Bail: $1,335.

Those arrested and facing criminal charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
