The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest associated with a theft happened at the Chevron Gas Station, 1102 North Carson Street, in Downtown Carson City on Oct. 24.
At about 2:55 p.m., the female depicted in the attached photographs and video surveillance entered the store while the clerk was distracted and stole a donations jar located on the counter. The jar contained an undisclosed amount of cash and coin that was being collected for children leukemia and lymphoma research. The female exit the store and fled the area.

Anyone who can provide information and identify the person depicted is asked to contact Deputy Brett Bindley at (775) 887-2008 in regards to Sheriff’s Office case number 2015-6886. Members of the public can also remain anonymous and call Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
