A 20-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday in the area of Carson and 7th Street on a misdemeanor charge of violation of bail conditions, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
According to the arrest report, the deputy made contact with two people at a convenience store in the 700 block of South Carson Street. The officer recognized the two from prior contact and knew they should not have been in contact with each because of a forthcoming domestic battery hearing.
Carson City dispatch advised the 20-year-old Antelope, Calif., man was on Alternative Sentencing and had a "no contact" clause with the woman he was with at the convenience store. He was arrested at 3:26 a.m. Bail: $3,000.
In other arrests: A 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 8:34 a.m. in the 2000 block of West College Parkway on two traffic-related failure to appear misdemeanor warrants issued May 19, 2014 out of Carson City Municipal Court. Bail: $1,055.
— Two women were arrested Monday, 10:59 p.m. at the Walmart store in the 3200 block of Market Street on misdemeanor charges of larceny, a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy said.
The women, ages 31 and 22, were detained by store security after allegedly taking multiple items and using a cart to push them into the parking lot without paying. The 22-year-old is from Dayton and the 31-year-old is from Carson City. Bail: $352 each.
Those arrested and facing criminal charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
