The Carson City Sheriff's Office has a new deputy. Bruce Pendragon, 30, was officially sworn in as a uniformed peace officer on Friday by Sheriff Ken Furlong.
Pendragon has been assigned to the detention division. His mother, Stephanie Ardelean, a sheriff's office volunteer, pinned the badge on her son during the ceremony.
